  • Year: 1993
  • Description: Three illegal migrants from North Epirus flee across the Greek-Albanian border on foot and make it to Greek territory. The men are Thomas Lekkas, Achilleas Nasios and ten-year-old Nikos, who recently lost his parents. They cross mainland Greece and arrive in Athens. In the capital city they are faced with a society that refuses to give them an equal opportunity. Everyone calls them Albanians. Their landing is abrupt and irregular. Thanos is killed in the unfinished concrete skeleton of a block of flats, and the other two decide to return to their village in Albania.
